MCC students, faculty around town for “Business Bytes” Day

McCook Community College business students and faculty recently participated in “Business Bytes” Day. The event was sponsored by Dr. Dharma Jairam, Mid-Plains Community College Academic Dean of Business and Humanities Academic Affairs and hosted by FBLA-Collegiate.
The group tour began with a trip to AKRS Equipment, followed by a stop to Buckle. This included business tours and insight to operations and procedures.
The group met with Charlie McPherson, McCook Economic Development Corporation at the Keystone and finished the day with a “Dining Etiquette Meal” at Embers and a talk with zoom talk with Ted Harshbarger, Executive Director of Foundation at Peru State College.
