WHAT’S THE GED® PROGRAM?

Successful completion of the GED® tests is an alternate opportunity for adults to earn a Nebraska High School Diploma. Individuals must be 18 or older (an exemption is available for individuals who are 16 and 17 years of age under specific circumstances).

This program is more than just a test!  It is a system that measures high school equivalency and is fully aligned with state and national college and career readiness standards. Practice tests and score reports provide test-takers with detailed information about academic weaknesses and links to specific study materials for remediation. Official practice tests cost $6.00 per subject area, or if you are a registered student in Adult Education and meet requirements, you may qualify to take the official practice tests FREE!

WHAT’S THE GED® TEST LIKE?
