Bachelor’s degree required and three to five years of relevant experience. Candidate should be able to work independently with little supervision, have experience with grant writing for federal and state agencies, show proficiency with Microsoft Office software and grant tracking software. Position: Responsible for managing and coordinating the EMS/CPR program at Mid-Plains Community College – North Platte and community campuses. Responsible for supervision of adjunct faculty and part-time staff in department, student clinical oversight, AHA course offerings for the entire MPCC area and overall responsibility for the course offerings of the northern tier of the service area and community campuses. Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be a National Registered EMT BLS provider. The successful candidate must be licensed as a Nebraska EMT. Candidate must possess or obtain Nebraska EMT instructor, AHA instructor certification, and BLS Psychomotor Exam Coordinator certification within three months of hire. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, while a combination of an associate’s degree and technical skills is required with a plan for obtaining a bachelor’s within five years of hire. Minimum Qualifications:
Two years construction, equipment maintenance/repair experience, general knowledge of preventive maintenance, and/or custodial experience, good communications & computer skills and a valid driver’s license required. Physically able to lift 60 pounds and more. Operation of power tools in a safe manner. Ability to work in all kinds of weather conditions. Ability to work by standing, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching. Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40 feet. Other related maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC is preferred but not required. Candidate should be able and willing to learn additional technical skills including expanding their computer skills. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.

Position: North Platte Community College is seeking an enthusiastic full-time athletic communications specialist to enhance promotion of our athletic programs. Responsibilities include:

Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree and demonstrated experience required. Applicants must possess knowledge of collegiate athletics specifically men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, softball, baseball and golf. In addition, they must possess strong writing and grammar skills, be detailed oriented and an excellent communicator.

Position: Responsible for daily maintenance such as groundskeeping and may assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry installations. This position will average 28 hours per week. The physical resources department manages facilities operations with our subdepartments maintenance and custodial. We are a staff of approximately 20 team members that work with multiple suppliers, and contractors to support the physical operations at NPCC. Position: McCook Community College is seeking a part-time teacher to work with local high school students for career exploration in the area Welding Technology. This position is approximately six hours per week, M – TH 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. and will follow a traditional high school calendar.
Duties include but are not limited to teaching high school students basic welding techniques, working with full-time faculty to determine appropriate teaching activities, and encouraging high school students to pursue a career in welding.

MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska. Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified persons are required to hold a current CDL License, a clean driving record and a minimum of at least 1-year of driving experience. Behind the Wheel and Range instructors will assist instruction of Behind the Wheel and Range training to the students at the Mid-Plains Community College Entry Level Driver Training program. Hours are flexible, instruction on the driving pad can happen daytime, evenings and weekends depending on your availability. Pay is $25.00 per hour.

Position: This position will be responsible for teaching Dental Assisting classes at North Platte Community College. The college is looking for someone to deliver engaging curriculum with high standards of excellence and someone that will be looking for innovative ways to offer courses. Courses are taught on-campus in North Platte and during the daytime. Teaching opportunities will begin August 22, 2022.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Health or Education related field and 4 years full-time occupational experience as a dental assistant to include at least 2 years as a chairside assistant. This experience must have been within the last 5 years if not currently teaching in an ADA CODA accredited dental assisting program. Additional Requirements: Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), Graduate of ADA CODA Accredited Dental Assisting Program, current CPR for Healthcare Provider, current immunizations for clinical participation and be able to meet the technical standards for the program.
