NPCC to host blood drive
North Platte Community College will host the first blood drive of the semester Sept. 30. The event is open to the public.
The American Red Cross will be set up from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the concession area of the McDonald-Belton Building on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd.
According to the American Red Cross about 20 percent of the millions of blood donations each year come from young donors, like college students.
Save time by making an appointment using the American Red Cross Blood Donor App or calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
A blood donor card, driver’s license or two other forms of identification will be required at check-in. Walk-ins are welcome.
