MPCC grabs gold at home Stampede
North Platte, Neb. – The Mid-Plains Community College Rodeo Team used the home arena to snag five first-place finishes over the weekend.
“Our student-athletes did a great job of not only producing a high-level rodeo but also competing at the Stampede,” said roughstock coach Aukai Kaai. “We are looking forward to a little rest and a lot of practice before we roll on to the next fall rodeo.”
The men’s team took the top spot, while the women’s team were in second place after the first rodeo. The men’s team concluded the second rodeo in second place.
