MCC’s ‘Trails of Misfortune’ offers up Friday the 13th insight
In recognition of “Friday the 13th” McCook Community College students and staff participated in “Trails of Misfortune,” an interactive event staged by MCC’s Academic Affairs and Student Life.
Dr. Cassandra Pfeifer created a game in which teams visited 13 stations which gave participants the chance to learn about items believe to be good and bad luck in various cultures.
Teams had to chose between one item believed to be good luck and the other one bad luck.
Because of weather, the event was moved to the Peter and Dolores Graff Events Center. Participants received “Friday the 13th” shirts and the winning teams received prizes.
