NPCC students welcomed to campus with “Jumanji” themed orientation
Karen Haller, executive assistant to the president, hands out bags to incoming students Friday during New Student Orientation at North Platte Community College.
The annual event is designed to acclimate students to campus, introduce them to other students, faculty and staff and provide them with the resources they will need throughout their academic journey at NPCC.
The “Jumanji” themed orientation, which included a scavenger hunt and question and answer panel discussion, was one of many activities NPCC offered this week to spark excitement about college, encourage teambuilding and set students up for success. Others included a welcome back barbecue, snow cone truck and ice cream social.
