Public invited to NPCC holiday concert
The North Platte Community College music department will ring in the holiday season with a “Musical Merriment” concert Dec. 7.
The Knightly Singers and the Jazzy Knights will perform a Bolivian lullaby, a jazzy rendition of “Ding Dong Merrily on High” and a big band arrangement of Christmas favorites among other selections.
The musicians will include:
- Grant – Brenden Pankonin
- Imperial – LaReina Colton
- McCook – Trenton Emmons
- North Platte – Drew Connelly, Avrianna Hayes, Donte’ Koif, Don Kurre, Kohltyn Majer, Lisa Pickett, Anja Tejral
- Ogallala – Emma Baney
The concert is free and open to the public. It will begin at 7 p.m. in the McDonald-Belton Theater on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd.

The Mid-Plains Community College Rodeo Team wrapped up its fall schedule on a high note at the Mystics Stampede Rodeo in Mandan, N.D.
