Three MCC students among winners at FBLA Collegiate meet
MCC Students Miriam Voehl, Ethan Brousseau and Harmonie Rodgers
Three McCook Community College students were among the winners at the FBLA Collegiate state leadership conference recently in Kearney.
Miriam Voehl finished fifth in Computer Applications and in Marketing, Sales, and Communications Case Competition.
Ethan Brousseau was named to Who’s Who in Nebraska FBLA-Collegiate and received fourth place in Foundations of Computer Science, fifth place in Foundations of Technology and also participated in Foundations of Communication.
Harmonie Rodgers received second in Foundations of Hospitality Management and fourth in Hospitality Management Case Competition. She also participated in Marketing, Sales and Communication Case Competition and Foundations of Communication.
Top five finishers are recognized on stage and the top four finishers automatically qualify for nationals June 24-27 in Orlando, Fla.
If there are spots available, other top finishers will be given the opportunity to fill empty slots for Nebraska at nationals.
The MCC chapter received the Gold Excellence award. The students were accompanied by co-advisor Renelle Mooney.
