Three MCC students win honors at FBLA conference

Three members of the McCook chapter of Future Business Leaders of America-Collegiate were recently honored at the state leadership conference in Kearney. In addition, the chapter earned the Gold Excellence Award, and the Race to 100 Award for getting 100 percent membership or more this year.
Those winning awards included Jackson Dellevoet, Leeta Gorcycza and Sarah Paben.
Paben received first place in Customer Service and also competed in the categories Foundations of Entrepreneurship and Foundations of Communication.
Dellevet received second place in Organizational Behavior and Leadership, fourth place in Foundations of Technology, and fifth place in Foundations of Management.
Gorcycva received the Who’s Who in Nebraska FBLA-Collegiate award and participated in Retail Management and Foundations of Finance.
Gorcycza and Paben teamed up and placed fourth in the state of the chapter presentation.
All three students are eligible to compete in the national competition in Las Vagas June 5-8.
