MCC students/employees recognized at Honors Convocation
McCook Community College Presidential Award recipient Denay Pelster was recognized by Mid-Plains Community College President Ryan Purdy Monday at the Peter and Dolores Graff Events Center.
McCook Community College students, faculty and staff were honored Monday at the annual Honors Convocation at the Peter and Dolores Graff Events Center.
Honorees included representatives from various college clubs and organizations and recipients of the following awards:
Cabinet Awards
Presidential Award – Denay Pelster, Wallace. The Presidential Award is presented to an outstanding student who has excelled in academics, leadership and service to the college and community.
Vice President of Student Services Award – Maggie Underhill, Hill City. The recognition is for an outstanding student leader who has demonstrated a commitment to co-curricular achievement.
Vice President of Instruction Award – Jackson Finder, Lincoln. The award is given to an outstanding student who has excelled in the classroom and demonstrated a commitment to continued academic achievement.
