McCook man wins shotgun raffle

Steve Fannon, of McCook, is the winner of a new shotgun raffled by the Mid-Plains Community College Shooting Club. The TriStar Trinity shotgun was sponsored by the River Valley Gun Gallery and assistant shooting club coach Ellie Schad.
A total of 212 tickets were sold for it. The more than $2,000 in proceeds will be used to help offset the cost of entry fees and travel expenses for the club’s upcoming competitions.

The Mid-Plains Community College Rodeo Team wrapped up its fall schedule on a high note at the Mystics Stampede Rodeo in Mandan, N.D.
