The Division of Humanities and Social Sciences at Mid-Plains Community College offer courses and programs for students interested in the world around them. Their interests may guide them toward creation and self-expression and/or investigating society and its many structures and dynamics.

Students who study the social sciences are interested in learning about the structure and dynamics of social systems. The social sciences will teach students to investigate how individuals and groups influence the world around us.
